25th July Update

Just to keep you up to date with what's been happening here, We had the Vans team stop by the shop on Monday to sign a few posters and give out some stickers. Riders included Dylan Smith (Luna), Chris Mahoney, Jon Taylor, Ben Hennon, Martyn Cooper, Nicki Croft. We have had a delivery of the new Proper brakes and cable hangers in a range of colours. We have the new Federal 20/20 bars and Federal 20/20 forks that are all super light and in a range of good looking colours. Also a new Dan Lacey bars with an 8 inch rise and 28 wide. We also have the new S&M XLT stem in the union jack colour scheme these are very limited so if you want one get in quick.

Vans UK BMX Tour - Off the Wall

The Vans ‘Off the Wall’ UK BMX tourkicks off at the legendary T in the Park music festival on Saturday 12th July. The full UK BMX team will be visiting 7 destinations in just under 10 days, culminating with the final stop at Custom Riders store. This is the first UK BMX tour under the watchful eye of new team manager and long time Vans BMX rider, Jon Taylor. So expect some hard core riding and plenty of behind the scenes antics – look out for daily updates on www.rideukbmx.com.  

Making his team debut will be Niki Croft who will be taking his well deserved place on the UK BMX tour as the newest Vans family member.  Joining him will be Ashley Charles, Phil ‘Moley’ Aller and Bas Keep to name a few, plus special European and American guests to be announced soon, so watch this space and check www.vans.co.uk for regular updates on the tour.

27th June Update

Hi All, Just to let you know what's been happening here this week, firstly check out the new Volume trailer for the ride to glory on theRide Uk website. We had a massive delivery from Odyssey with all the new Aaron Ross signature Fluro red parts so check those out. Also new in are the Odyssey which have the kevlarK-Lyte tyres bead to reduce the weight of the tyre.  Also new in is the new Mike Aitken nightwolf seat in two colours. And yes we have a few sets of the clear Odyssey twisted pedals so for all you fashion guys that want plastic pedals we do have some in stock but they are going quick so if you want a set get in quick. New Products for June 20th!

Hi All, Firstly I would like to congratulate team Volume UK on there win at Ride To Glory well done guys good job.
Secondly congrats to local rider Matt Priest for his win at Nass on dirt. Also from Nass get well soon to Scott Hamlin after his crash leaving him with a broken collar bone. We have had new products this week from Primo that include the new Josh Stricker Plastic pedals.
Stricker pedals We have a few of the new Fit Aitken S3.5 this frame has some really nice machining and looks like a top quality frame. Fit S3. 5 FrameWe are expecting a big delivery from Odyssey next week so keep your eyes pealed if there are parts you want from them. New Products for February 16th!

Hi All, Just to keep you all informed as to whats new here, We have just taken the first delivery of the 2 new Fit frames the Chase Dehart and the Eddie Cleveland, both frames come with or without brake mounts. We aslo now have the new Abike DVD dont quit your day job 2 and the new Innocent bystander DVD. The simple Bikes slammers have also arrived for all you guys wanting to run slammed back wheel on small dropouts these are the thing for you. Also the New Federal Pivotal posts and seats are in and going quick so if you want one get in there early before they sell out. We also had a top up order from UGP clothing so check out the designs and accessories from those guys the quality on the t-shirts is second to none.

New Products this week January 15th!

Its been a few weeks since I have had chance to give you all an update as it was pretty manic over christmas, Can I take this oppertunity to wish you all a happy new year.
Mason has just flown out today to the Simpel Jam in Estonia and has taken a couple of our team riders with him so good luck to Matt and Jason.
We have just had all the latest Demolition parts arrive including the new Mary Kate hub in 4 colours and the Medial cranks in the new Chrome finish. Also the Demolition team pegs are now available in Green and purple as well as black and white.
We also got some of the New Jason Enns Volume frames in two great clours blue anbd a really nice orange/red colour.
The new volume end caps and Demolition end caps are also now in stock in black and white.
We had a few new colours in the complete wheels so we now have all white wheels and all purple.

Segment dropped some of there latest design t-shirts in the other day so check those out on the site.

Morning all. We've been pretty busy the last few weeks getting ready for a massive clothing blowout. We've sent out catalogues to many of you that order from us and still have catalogues left if anyone wants one. Just let us know. In store we have just put the finishing touches to displaying all the sale clothing for you to browse through. New Products this week 16 October!

We've had a mega busy day unpacking boxes and boxes of shiny new Demolition parts. Everything we were out of stock of we now have back in. Blood Red has been dropped as a colour but we've had the first few purple parts in. Also the awesome Zero rims are now in stock in white, purple and green. The brand new Demolition rim tapes are now in with either adhesive backing or not. A brand new mini-micro sprocket is also in with a 23tooth size. ITS TINY!! Volume and Demolition also sent us some forks, bars and pedals in yellow to match the rest of the Demolition line-up.

On a visual note the new Sh1t Luck and Fit's Summer Of Fit dvd's should be in with us next week.

We are currently trying to clear out a lot of our clothing and have made a wee brochure to show you all whats on offer. If you order from us you will get one in your next parcel. New Products this week 8 October!

New in this week is the Primo Blance Pivotal seat and the Pivotal stup post, Looks really nice and has been well proven to work well. Also new in this week is the revamped Ciari race stem in Mini Pro and Pro XL sizes, This is a really great design and works really well I have been running one all seasons with no problems. We also got a re stock on the 4 bolt tetrad sprocket so if you are running the Shimano cranks we now have all the sizes you need in stock.

Also new for the young racers is the Ciari 28H 20 * 1-1/8 Race rim super simple design and super light weight. Next week we are expecting the New Props rock n roll tour 2 DVD 3 New Fit tee shirts go check them out.

Glamorama Jam On the 13 October!

Team-Jisatsu; Glamorama BMX Competition Central Skate-park 28 Mason St, Manchester, M4 5EY

The Event Glamorama BMX Competition, well be an indoor skate park event, showcasing the freshest talents of local and national BMX riders. Teams of four riders, will battle against one another until there is only the winning team left. Then the winning team, will then have to clash with one another for the overall prize. As something a little different, we are going to have a best dressed rider contest, and see who is taking the BMX fashion world by storm, which will be judged by all the ladies in attendance. After the contest, we will have an after session riding party. Were we will bring live music from some local bands to help sing the night away. My local West Indian takeaway will bring some quality home cooked Caribbean food for all the hungry joes.

*We also plan to hold a raffle/auction in support of the Stephen Murray Family Fund.

**If possible for an added extra bonus, we would like to get pro UK rider teams to battle each other to see which team has that something special its all for fun!!

TWOAND8 presents the 2007 Worcester BMX Stephen Murray Jam

The guys over at TWO&8 / Worcester BMX Jam have just sent us this press release for this years Worcester BMX Jam. Heres what they had to say :

The date has been set, the skate park is being swept, the trails are being groomed and the bands have been booked. TWOAND8 presents the 2007 Worcester BMX Stephen Murray Jam. This is going to be the biggest BMX jam in the UK for the summer. TWOAND8 is taking BMX back to its roots! No big prize money, no strict TV schedule – back to why we all started riding our bikes……..For fun!

This jam is to raise money for The Stephen Murray Family Fund. After a tragic crash at the Baltimore Dew Tour June 2007, Stephen has been left with serious injuries to his spinal cord and vertebrae. The fund has been set up to raise money to support Stephen in his long and on-going rehabilitation, as well as helping to look after his family.

His brother Martin Murray and many close friends are tirelessly working to put together an amazing weekend.

This is a new venue and format for the TWOAND Jam spread over 2 days. Day 1 is going to be at Perdiswell concrete park, this is going to be the first time this park has seen a BMX event. Day 2 is going to be at the infamous Alianos Trails, which are usually invite only. However for 1 day it’s going to be open to everyone!

So what you waiting for? Get a crew together and head to Worcester on 25th & 26th August, Bank Holiday weekend …………Stay strong.

Biz The Winner

Volime and Demolition's Biz Jordan come in 1st place in the Pro Dirt Finals, at the Masters out in Germany. Biz has recently released his signature model Volume 81 Frame.

Kink Complete Bikes Range

Kink are well known for making some fantastic USA made BMX parts. However it looks like they are moving into the complete bike market and are releasing a complete bike range. The range will consist of five models : the Kink Launch, the Kink Gap, the Kink Whip, the Kink Transition and the Kink ROC. From what we have seen of them Kinks bike range looks amazing and are worth checking out!

Demolition Yellow Parts

Demolition has just added some fantastic new yellow parts to their parts range. New in for the summer are, the yellow Demolition Vulcan Brake, Demolition Anorexia Cassette hub, and Demolition Bulimia hub. Etnies Grounded DVD

New Skatepark in Saffron Walden

The new One Minet Park over in Saffron Walden in Essex will be opening in a few weeks.  The ‘One Minet Skatepark’ was named in memory of Andrew Minet who was at the forefront of the campaign to get the skatepark built.    The skate group managed to get £280,000 raised for the parks completion.

Demolition Baja Tyre

Demolition have been working on lots of new parts of late and the new tyres look awesome the Baja is the new dirt/street tyre and comes in two styles wire bead 640grams or Kevlar bead for light weight 620.grams, What that means is that the tire bead to the entire wrap of the tyre is kevlar. This is to strengthen the tyre to reduce pinches and rips throughout. you can also fold up the Kevlar tyre making easy to carry in your backpack. Tyre prices kevlar is £21.99 and wire bead is £11.99

King Kong

We have just taken delivery of the new King Kong Army style hats along with the new mesh cap Burlington and new colours in the Karo Hat. Better still all hats only £8.95

Bicycle Union

Better known for T-shirts and gloves and protection Bicycle Union have branched out in to the parts market with this New Quarrel seat, it is a slim design with a slight embossing and printed logo to it, 8mm rails, weight 320grams.
